BRANDING film: MICHAEL & MICHAEL
ideafarm was engaged by Michael & Michael, one of the top hair salons in the country, to create a branding film that conveyed the unique vibe, experience and environment of its luxurious, light-filled Chicago salon.
The film features co-founder Michael Jacobson, a leader and educator in the Chicago fashion community for more than 20 years, demonstrating the precision dry-cutting technique for which he has gained international renown. Some of the clientele Jacobson has served in his salon’s award-winning space includes Juicy Couture founder Gela Nash-Taylor; Venezuelan supermodel Patricia Velasquez; TV host Maria Menounos, cosmetics icon Bobbie Brown; actresses Candice Bergen, Robin Tunney and Elisabeth Shue; and Broadway legend Patti Lupone.
The film was shot with the venerable Canon 5D camera, which lent a silky, cinematic look to the scenes.
