NON-PROFIT: LEGAL COUNCIL FOR HEALTH JUSTICE

Ideafarm was commissioned to create a short film to mark the 30th anniversary of Legal Council for Health Justice (formerly AIDS Legal Council), a nonprofit in Chicago providing essential legal services to people living with HIV and AIDS, homeless, children, seniors and other underserved populations.

The film, which featured the stories and viewpoints of several doctors, executives and care recipients, was shot on a RED cinema camera using an infinity black technique for dramatic effect — putting the focus on each speaker’s powerful message. Click the image above to see a 2-min. clip.

The film premiered at Legal Council’s gala, the organization’s major annual fundraiser, in front of 400 attendees and was central to the fundraising ask. The event raised more than $250,000.
