On the heels of ideafarm’s award-winning short CURTAINS set in the world of avant-garde theatre, we’re in post-production on a new narrative short about struggling artists who find themselves at a professional crossroads.
BITTER FRUIT follows two classically trained actors, dressed in fruit suits for their latest humiliating gig, as they contemplate the depths to which they’ve fallen in their profession. The film explores everyone’s greatest fear: what if your “moment” has come and gone? What if living your best life is now out of reach? What if you followed your heart — and happiness didn’t follow?
