MUSIC VIDEO: Altering Grey

Newly formed alt-rock band, Altering Grey, was looking to promote their original music and high-octane performance style to music venues.

Ideafarm films, in collaboration with LDR Studios, created a promotional package for the band that included a music video and stills designed to convey their unique vibe. The band is currently using the package to develop relationships with club owners and to publicize their participation in special events such as the recent “Heavy Metal for Hope” benefit they co-headlined with MaciAnn Hayes and Wolftooth.

In keeping with the goal of creating a mood to match the dystopian and otherwordly feel of the lyrics of their new track, “Pandemical,” the video was shot anamorphic and finished in grainy, cold tones. A secondary objective was to simulate the experience of attending one of the band’s live performances: gritty, emotional and raw.
